HFAC Music
Music

The music classes offer instruction in accordance with the Florida
Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. The focus in grades K-3
is on reading and notating music in preparation for future
participation in band and chorus aspects of music by using a variety
of instruments including keyboards, recorders, as well as a variety of
multi-cultural...
Students in the band will have performance opportunities in addition
to the school setting.

Students will be challenged to broad genres.  They will be encouraged to explore the classical approach, as much attention is given to vocal maturity, music theory experience.

HFACS Dance
Dance

The School will have a rich and exciting dance program for all
students. Students in grades K-3 will take dance as a -------

opportunities.

HFACS Drama
Drama

Theatre arts classes will promote critical and creative thinking, teaches life skills and develops in the students an understanding, examination and implementation of conflict solving, help in focusing the emotions for controlled use and disciplines the guided to write dramatic material according to their level and based on their experiences.  In addition to the social skills the d   discover and develop the acting skills of our students.  Students in grades K-3 will explore the theatre discipline through creative activities that will lead them to independent practice on stage, participate in formal performances open to the public and conducted by professional staff members demonstrating their talent in some of the school-hours performances.

All instruction for art education will be based on the Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.  The visual arts program will be based on 20th and 21st century concepts.  Students in K-3 will not do typical school art projects.  They will explore the elementary …. They will continuously draw and they paint very little.  Since “drawing is the probity of art,” this love of drawing must be developed, here that they begin to explore the many media and techniques with 2 and 3 dimensional artwork.  Critiques of student work take place so that all can learn by taking …
