Parent Involvement

Title I Mission Statement

The Title I Department is committed to providing compliance expertise and quality services and assistance to Lake County Schools, students, parents and the community.

It is our goal to provide these services in a manner that facilitates the understanding of fiscal and program requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act and ultimately results in increased student achievement.

As a Title I Family School Liaison it is my duty to serve as liaison between school personnel, parents and community agencies facilitating parent awareness and school involvement. I also manage the Humanities and Fine Arts Title I Parent Resource Center where parents are able to come in with a Teacher Prescription and check out educational games and items to help their child(ren) in many subjects.

I assist our students and parents who are experiencing problems affecting school adjustment and progress by referring them to appropriate community agencies (area clinics, public health centers, pre-school programs, adult English learning programs) and provide feedback to the school.

Please contact me for information about volunteering or other parental involvement for the school and the Parent Resource Center including help with food, finances and clothing resources for families of the Humanities and Fine Arts Charter School. Call the school for the Center's hours each week. I look forward to seeing you soon!

The entire District Parent Involvement Plan (DPIP) is available on our Parent Involvement webpage and at local libraries.
